This sweet girl came in today matted to the skin and had to be shaved. I saved her ears and popped some feather bows on her Poofy ears. I loved her!

An alternative face for Schnauzers with eyebrow cowlicks!
I love this schnauzer’s eyebrows! She has cowlicks on both that cause them to grow out sideways, and no amount of product or blowdrying will make them face forward. So mom has me thinning shear them quite short and leave just enough to have a shape to them. She’s adorable!
What is up with Schnauzer patterns?
These are two different schnauzers that came in on separate days. One pattern was done by a groomer who no longer works at J&R. One was done by another salon. Schnauzer patterns (for pets) are rather contravercial and vary by city and salon. That said, i sometimes wonder who the heck is right anymore…
